I recently attended an appointment and wanted to share my experience as from start to finish, the care I received was exceptional. Dr Kiran Bhella provided treatment that truly exceeded my expectations. The quality of care, attention to detail, and clear explanations throughout the procedure immediately put me at ease. As someone who can be quite a nervous patient, I especially appreciated the calm, patient, and reassuring approach taken, which made the entire experience far more comfortable than I had anticipated. I would also like to thank Nurse Jessica for her kindness and support during the appointment. Her professionalism and gentle manner contributed greatly to making the treatment feel smooth and well-coordinated. In addition, Receptionist Kasha was welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived, creating a positive first impression and ensuring everything was organised and dealt with efficiently. Overall, I am extremely grateful for the high standard of care and the compassionate approach shown by the whole team. Whilst the treatment is on the higher end price-wise, it was absolutely worth it for the quality of care and overall experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to others!

My mum had to see an emergency dentist and we had a really positive experience. Dr Haider and Nurse Roma were both very welcoming and made us feel comfortable straight away. Dr Haider was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, making sure my mum received the best possible care. Nurse Roma was also lovely and reassuring throughout the appointment. We’re very grateful for how well my mum was looked after. Thank you both! Dionne xx

Following a very painful time with toothache I contacted the practice for an emergency appointment. I was seen almost instantly and had Excellent service with professional and caring staff. Hedda was a first class dentist that talked me through every step of the way. The dentaI nurse was also extremely polite and knowledgeable. I will need further treatment going forward but feel happy that it's with this practice. Polite and pleasant reception staff, all very approachable, I have nothing but praise for this practice. Thank you so much to all your team.

An easy 5 stars. After spending the weekend in pain with lower wisdom tooth pain - enough was enough. A call around several NHS dentists who ‘didnt have prescribers in’ or ‘couldnt fit me in’, and a long phone call with 111 - I gave up on the NHS dentist front and googled emergency dentists near me. Night and Day Hull came up, and with lots of positive reviews - I was sold (albeit nervous about the cost, going private), so I booked an appointment for the same day £50 consultation fee. After arrival, I was seen within 5 minutes by Dr Kiran Bhella, who was superb and dental nurse Jessica, who made me feel comfortable. Dr Bhella did two very quick X-rays and discovered it was my upper wisdom tooth causing all the problems - and upsetting the lower! Within half an hour, it was removed, quickly, efficiently and pain free (I was terrified, but had no reason to be at all) The relief from the upper tooth was IMMEDIATE and Dr Bhella also prescribed antibiotics to reduce the swelling around the irritated bottom tooth. The cost… well it’s not cheap! At £450. However, there was an option to do a 3, 6, or 12 month payment plan - so if you choose this option make sure you have photo ID with you. Receptionist Kasha, was the kindest and most helpful, most friendly receptionist I’ve ever known - she made me feel relaxed, comfortable and provided me with all the information needed. A huge thank you to N&D Hull - first day of recovery almost complete.

I got a quick appointment and had a tooth extracted at the appointment. I was impressed with the good customer service and lovely staff at this practice. It is expensive, but was worth it to be seen so quickly, and have the pain gone. The dentist and dental nurse and reception staff were all amazing. Thanks guys ❤️

We are available for appointments 24 hours a day. While our standard operating times are between 7am and 11pm, we can still see you at anytime you like and are more than happy to book patients in 24 hours a day.

For appointments outside of our standard operating hours, we do charge a call out fee to be seen.

    Please note:

The call out fee does include the cost for the consultation, X-rays and first line of treatment required to get you out of pain for one tooth. Treatments included can be complex extractions, composite fillings or even the first stage of a root canal to get you out of pain.

For any further information please don’t hesitate to call us on 07365247287.

    Are you registering new patients?2024-11-18T00:03:33+00:00

We only really see dental emergencies, and we always send patients back to their own registered dentist. Most dentists would be upset if we were to register the patients we have seen out of hours.

If you don’t have a dentist and want to be seen the dentist will still be able to treat any further issues however we don’t operate as normal dental practices and request you are seen every 6 months. Any time you want to book an appointment to see one of the dentists you can do so any time. Call us on 07365 247 287 and we will book you in. The responsibility lies with you as when you want to be seen.

Some home methods to treat tooth if you cant access a dentist2020-12-21T12:54:40+00:00

Try over the counter painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen. Only take the medications if you are normally ok taking them. Occasionally it will reduce the pain slightly until you can get to the dentist. This is only a temporary measure but sometimes it helps if you have no other alternative.

Hot salt water mouth washes are very useful if you have a swelling or some sort of infection. Salt water is a natural anti septic and can reduce pain.

Why is tooth ache worse at night time?2020-12-21T12:54:07+00:00

Many people suffer with dental pain at night time. A lot of the time the pain makes it unbearable to sleep. A lot of pain at night time is due to the position of you lying down, blood rushing to the head and the pain or swelling inside the tooth increase.

Before getting to this level of pain we always advise a visit to the dentist so to avoid such dilemmas. The dentist will take x rays and check which tooth is causing the pain. So many times the pain spreads top and bottom unable to locate the pain. Thus the x ray is one of the best tests to elicit where the pain is coming from.

If I go to A and E with tooth ache will they treat me?2020-12-21T12:53:28+00:00

Unfortunately, toothache is not classed as an emergency or an accident and as it is not life-threatening, they will not be able to treat you.

If you have facial swelling that is affecting your ability to breathe then we advise you to go to A and E.

How to get emergency dental treatment on the NHS?2024-11-18T00:03:01+00:00

If you are registered with an NHS dentist you may be able to get a dentist appointment at your own dentist, however it may not be on the same day. Dental practices generally close at 5 pm so to get an NHS emergency dentist appointment may be difficult.

Out of hours NHS do provide emergency appointments but have very strict criteria such as persistent bleeding and unable to breathe or swallow due to swelling.

If this is the case your NHS dentist should have an alternate local number for you to call in the case of emergency.

Night and Day Emergency Dentist provides private treatment and promises to see you on the same day. You can contact one of the reception staff members on 07365 247 287 and get an appointment immediately.

I am not registered does that matter?2020-12-21T12:50:37+00:00

No, you don’t have to be registered with anyone to see us.

    Will the dentist hurt me?2020-12-21T12:49:54+00:00

No, the dentist and the team aim to make your experience as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. We like to take our time and make sure you are comfortable. Read our reviews no one has once complained of pain!

    How much will it cost?2020-12-21T12:48:57+00:00

There is an initial emergency consultation fee of £50.

Once we do special tests to see what is wrong with the tooth we always discuss all costs before treatment starts. There are no hidden costs.

I’m really nervous? What can you do?2020-12-21T12:48:16+00:00

We are an emergency dental service. So most of the time we see nervous patients. No one likes coming to the dentist. Once you speak to us on the phone we will reassure you and guarantee you won’t have to be nervous about anything. We work very relaxed and all of our patients (well most) really enjoy their time with us.

I’m on holiday in the UK can I still attend?2020-12-21T12:47:29+00:00

Yes we regularly see patients from abroad as they have no dentist here. We welcome all patients.
